H & L Tie the Knot: Toast and Dinner

After our we got all the dances out of the way every one made their way to a table or lounge are while my dad, Hagin’s best man, and my sister said their toasts.

Hagin’s brother in law who performed the ceremony said the blessing and dinner began. We did not have a sit down dinner we had a cocktail style reception. We only had seating for about 70% of our guests and we had plenty of high tops throughout the venue along with a lounge area for everyone else. Everyone seemed to love it. We got tons of comments on how good the food was.

We ended up having 4 different food stations. An Asian station manned by the Carlouel head chef. He was serving up shrimp, beef, or chicken stir fry.

Outside on the grill we had a slider station with burger and chicken sliders a condiments bar featuring cheddar cheese, blue cheese, sautéed mushrooms, sautéed onions, chipotle mayo, lettuce and tomato.

We also had a pasta bar with a few different types or pastas and toppings and a Cuban station with Cuban sandwiches, black beans and rice, and a 1905 salad.

I only got to eat one slider, so believe people when they say you will not have time to eat! We were happy to have to go boxes packed full of food to take with us at the end of the night.
