6 Month Photo Tour

As of today we have officially been homeowners for 6 months! It doesn’t even seem like a very long time but while compiling this post it almost doesn’t look like the same house.
Here is a side by side comparison of just how far we have come in the past 6 months.
Living Room – before


Living Room – after (we do have a rug that I love and ties the whole room together! But can’t put back down until we are sure there will be no more accidents in the house)
What we have done: Painted - Behr Sage Tint, installed laminate wood floors in Caribbean Rosewood, installed new window treatments.


Kitchen/Dining Room – before

What we have done: Painted - Behr Pewter Vase, installed new laminate wood floors in Caribbean Rosewood, painted cabintes - Glidden Antique White, Installed new light fixture in dining room, purchased new microwave and refridgerator.


Half Bath – before

What we have done: Painted - Behr Spa Pool
Master Bedroom – before

What we have done: Painted - Benjamin Moore Glass Slipper, installed new blinds, cleaned carpets

Master Bathroom – before

Master Bathroom – after (Besides the hallway this is the only room that hasn’t been repainted yet. I haven’t decided on a paint color and we just kind of ran out of steam with all the painting)
What we have done: nothing!

What we have done: Painted - this color was supposed to be Behr Sage Tint color matched at Lowes, but when we got it home it obviously wasn't. Originally it was for the living room, but I liked it anyways and used it in the office and guest bathroom.

What we have done: Painted - same color as guest bathroom. The overhead light in this room doesn't work. We have tried rewiring it, guess we will have to break down and get a new one.

The downstairs was our main decorating goal after we moved in and now that we are almost completed we are slowly beginning upstairs projects. All our bathrooms should be getting tiled any day now. We have already bought the tile and it is sitting in our garage waiting for the tile man to have a spare moment. My next step for downstairs is finding art to hang on the walls.
